Chapter 8: Fight for Survival at the Cliff Edge!

"Don't look down, Xiumei, hurry up!"

Wang Dali roared, pushing Xiumei's buttocks frantically, urging her on.

As if it were a matter of life and death, Xiumei, overwhelmed with fear, forgot everything else, driven only by the desire to survive, she climbed upwards.

In her terror, Xiumei climbed surprisingly fast.

They were almost at the top of the cliff.

Wang Dali was unarmed and feeling anxious. A sense of extreme crisis made his whole body tremble.

Splash!

A water snake surged out of the water, rushing towards the cliff, its huge and ferocious snake head particularly terrifying, mouth wide open, aiming to bite Wang Dali who was behind.

"Oh damn!"

Wang Dali was horrified, swiftly sidestepping a foot, grabbing onto a cliff, hanging in mid-air.

Boom!

The snake's head, as big as a Chery QQ car, slammed into the black rock of the cliff, causing several rocks to collapse.

The massive vibration almost caused Wang Dali and Pei Xiumei to fall off the cliff.

"Damn it!"

Wang Dali kicked the snake's head fiercely, using the force to propel himself up a meter, just level with Xiumei.

The giant snake seemed dizzy from the impact, its head swaying groggily in mid-air.

The viewers watching the live broadcast were stunned!

This was like a scene from a Hollywood blockbuster!

No, it was even better than the effects of a Hollywood blockbuster!

With ultra-high definition, some in 8K, some in 4K, the picture quality was incredibly clear, capturing every detail.

One could even see every splash of water as the snake surged upwards, every glint of light reflecting off its dark scales, and the viscous saliva between its sharp teeth.

It was so realistic that it scared many viewers.

The super camera was definitely cutting-edge technology, perhaps even alien technology.

Not only was it not physical, but it was also extremely intelligent, moving swiftly between Wang Dali and the giant snake, even jumping, to capture the best angles and shots in real-time.

The angles, the shots, whether wide shots, close-ups, clear shots, or dynamic blurs, were all captured in an instant, allowing the best Hollywood directors enough time to manipulate, but the effect was even better.

The messages on the live screen paused for two seconds before starting to flood in again.

"Oh god, run!"

"Get out of the way!"

"Damn, scared the hell out of me, is there really such a terrifying sea snake in the world?"

"Quick, call Salted Egg Superman, save the anchor and my goddess Xiumei!"

"So scary, I dare not watch!"

"I'm literally scared to tears!"

In a distant cold country, Pei Xiumei's family had already opened the website to watch the live video.

At first, they watched with bated breath, until the moment the giant snake surged up, almost devouring Wang Dali and Xiumei.

How could Pei's mother withstand such a heart-stopping scene?

Her eyes rolled back, and she fainted directly.

Pei's father, sister, and brother screamed in shock, the whole family thrown into chaos.

"Quick, climb up!"

Wang Dali roared, pushing and pulling, quickly climbing up with Xiumei.

Luckily, Xiumei was not heavy, weighing at most ninety catties. Wang Dali felt adrenaline pumping, fear and crisis driving him to summon an astonishing strength.

Not to mention pulling Xiumei now, even pulling up a large elephant, Wang Dali felt he could do it.

Some of the viewers were already crying.

It was too thrilling, too crazy, too frightening. This was a live broadcast, a real-life event, not a movie.

Realizing this was a live broadcast, everyone became even more scared, more excited, their hearts seemingly about to leap out of their throats.

Damn it, it was too nerve-wracking to be in the midst of it!

With tears in her eyes, Xiumei felt a stinging sensation of the snake's breath, desperately climbing to the top of the cliff.

Behind them, Wang Dali used his arm to prop up Xiumei's soft buttocks, and Xiumei had already rolled onto the cliff. Wang Dali climbed up faster, propelled by the adrenaline.

The giant snake, now fully awake, roared, its mouth wide open, lunging towards them.

"Be careful!"

Xiumei lay in front of the cliff, just in time to see the terrifying snake head lunging towards her. Her face turned pale as a ghost, screaming in terror.

Wang Dali felt the hot breath behind him, hot and fierce, it was the snake's breath.

Where could he dare to look back? He rolled over directly, pounced like a dead dog, covering the screaming Xiumei beneath him, treating her like a cushion.

Wang Dali was a bit confused because it seemed like he had touched Xiumei's face!

Just as Wang Dali pounced, the snake's head passed from where Wang Dali had just stood, its mouth missing its target.

The giant snake, unwilling to give up, rose again and lunged downwards, determined to devour the two.

"Oh no—"

Wang Dali quickly rolled off Xiumei, rolling to the side.

Boom!

The snake's jaws struck the cliff, causing rocks to fly and a piece of the snake's tooth to chip off. In pain, it shook its head violently, swinging its entire body and smashing back into the sea.

Seeing this scene, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

"So thrilling, the anchor didn't die—"

"This place is not safe, quickly find cover—"

"The big snake isn't dead yet, will it continue to pursue? Anchor, quickly take Xiumei and run—"

Wang Dali didn't even have the mood to look at the messages in his mind. He pulled up the pale-faced Xiumei, still trembling with fear.

Damn it, it was too close, they almost became snacks for the giant snake!
